Another thank you and a quick update

God damn! So its 2 weeks since i uploaded The Madness of Make Believe Martial Arts. It was tracking well for the first week with 10k views, slightly below the Jones / McGregor videos, but whatever. It's a niche topic so i figured it wouldn't be as popular. Normally with these videos, for me, i see a big spike in views when they're released, and then they trend downward after a week or so until there's only maybe 1-200 views per day and that's where they stay.

About a week after TMOMBMA came out views had dropped sharply as expected until another youtuber, Jesse on Fire, gave me a shoutout in one of his videos. Being completely honest, i had actually never heard of him before. But he's got a fairly big subscriber base and it sent quite a bit of interest my way! The video started trending upwards again, and then it got picked up by the almighty algorithm and hasn't stopped (according to YT, views are up 801%!!!). I've gotten almost 2K subscribers in just a couple of days and I'm honestly still kinda stunned.

With all the sudden interest in my videos tho you might be surprised to hear that even with 2K new subs, 801% increase in views, and over 100K combined views, I've had approximately one new patron. So i just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who actually took the time to put up a dollar or two as a way of support. You guys are legitimately the real MVPs. The ratio of subscribers to Patrons is only a tiny percentage, even for some of the biggest creators i follow, so again, i really appreciate you guys.

So on to the next one, after a bit of deliberation, the next video is....

*cue crazy pride lady screaming*

This one is gonna take a while, as i love the shit out of Pride and want to make sure this one is as well researched as possible and as good as i can possibly make it!!
