Well, not really crazy, i basically sat around the house playing videogames and eating cereal in my underwear, but just a bit surreal seeing how well the video is doing. I know by contrast to big channels i follow, its nothing, as they would have 100K views on a video in a day, but to me it's crazy. Humble in Victory.. has had almost 15k views in 3 days, and aside from the odd "youre a hater, loser" comments, it's all been amazingly positive feedback. The fact that people are sitting down and watching a fucking hour of me rant about McGregor is just 😮
And to all the new (and old!) people who signed up to Patreon, and honestly i cant thank you enough. Youre all fuckin' unicorns!!
Just as a comparison, heres the analytics for the first documentary style video i did almost a year ago now, the Charles Bennett video. It took 3 months for this video to hit 100 views!
After Head Movement blew up these early videos got some views too tho (you can see the giant spike there on the chart is when Head movement came out) which was cool. As flawed as the Bennett video is (stupid low vocals!! Seriously, getting the vocals right is a nightmare, hardest part of any video), i still put a lot of effort into it, my philosophy since i started was "make content for 5 subscribers as if they were 5000". Tho honestly when people comment on these super old videos with awful vocals i genuinely get embarrassed as fuck. But to anyone who actually sat through them, jesus, you're a real one 😂
But anyway, on to the next!!
I have a few ideas floating around for the next video. And just as a way of saying thanks I'm gonna put it to a vote for Patrons to choose what's next. I'll do up a poll in the coming week or so when ive thought some more, and if you guys want to pitch me ideas, I'm all ears. Just comment below and all ideas are welcome and will be considered!!
But the Gabi Garcia Erotic Fan Fiction is still a work in progress so please stop pressuring me to release that... 😂

haha thank you man, thats awesome. Honestly its great hearing little stories like this about people watching these videos!! Thats a good idea about the LW fiasco tho, could probalby make an entire video about how the UFC screw over contenders like that. Eventually, ill do something on Tony. Id like to give him a chance to get another win first, tho.. :(

Discovered your channel after the head movement video and was sucked in ever since. I think I missed the Jon Jones video release by a few days but really starting stalking your page when the Conor trailer dropped. I probably spent more time than I’d like to admit watching and commenting lol but I can’t event try and explain how much I enjoyed that video, me and a coworker were watching slightly on a delay when the video went live, we’ve had debates at work about Conor’s legacy for years and you pretty much nailed everything i argued, so much in fact the person I referenced text me during when the Dennis Siver rant started swearing it was really a video I did. Even that person as a Conor fan enjoyed the video, not as much as I, but they still enjoyed. It really was great, THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS MY CONNOR ME-LEG-HURT LINE lol, but I still applaud you well done. Now to my ideas, one I’ve worked on writing out, full of details and after spending all that time I think I come off kinda crazy, so I’m just gonna pitch it lol, I think with the success of the Conor video maybe it would be smart to stick with something relative to his legacy still, that’s why I think it may be worth doing something about the absence of the lightweight championship (you could release closer to Dec if Oliveira Poirer is announced) It really is a crazy time line when you break it down, Conor beats Eddie in Nov 2016 and since then the belt has been defended twice, Khabib v Poirer Sept 2019 and Khabib v Gaethje Oct 2020. Obviously a number of interim championship fights, Tony Khabib canceled numerous times, holding out for Conor to box Floyd etc, but compared to what’s happened recently with Francis, it really is crazy to see how the division got held up for a guy that never fought in the division. Several other factors led to the delay, but nothing more than the desire have Conor as champ and selling fights I think. Also it really saddens me to write this as a Tony Ferguson fan, but I think he’s worthy of a video highlighting the ups and down of his career. And I’d imagine it would be an easier video to do in a humorous tone with all of the crazy things he’s done lately. I’ll never forget that feeling I got when Tony walked out again Dariush looking 10 years older and starting kicking the pad inside the corner of the the octagon, at that point I knew his time was up. With all that said, good luck going forward, thanks again.
