The Mcgregor Video is done, and my final thoughts on it!

So the Conor video is finished, it's uploaded to youtube now, and ready to go live. And i don't want to spam up the YT community posts with stuff so lucky patrons, you get treated to a 1am blog post lmao

There's honestly probably a ton more stuff i want to edit on it. There's a bunch of transitions that aren't smooth or maybe some music cuts off too soon. There's some parts i feel repeat themselves or are in the wrong place. There's a bunch of ideas i had pop into my head just today that i wanted to put in there but honestly after 4 weeks working on it every day, any more polishing or editing and ill never get this damn thing out the door!! You risk burning yourself out on it too, like at this stage the thought of more editing is giving me a headache. Or maybe that's cause its 1am and i was editing for hours after working a full day and only eating cereal...

I was worried people will watch the opening "rise" part and think "aww this is just some Conor nuthugging shit", but i didn't want the video to be a "hate" video and wanted to try and talk about Conor's actual achievements first, before i laid into him for all the rotten shit he's done. Honestly, i hate channels that are only 100% negative or drama based, which is why with Jones and now Conor, i do try and appreciate the good parts of their career, before laying out the worst parts. But watching the video in its entirety for the first time tonight, yeah, i think the video is pretty brutal on old Connie McNuggets lol.

To give you a bit of a sneak preview, the parts I'm most happy with are probably The Terminator parody for the sheer amount of editing it took (i spent days on that one section alone! Even going as far as learning how to create green screen effects from scratch), and the Burger King section cause i think its some of the most savage writing I've done in a video lol. 

Also, i got completely lucky, as i couldn't decide on a song to use over the outro. I was going to go with Faith No More's "Everythings Ruined" as lyrically it fits Conor perfectly, 

(and he made us proud, he made us rich, and how were we to know he's counterfeit) 

but musically it just didn't seem to fight right. Then this afternoon on my lunch break from work, i remembered hearing The Animals "its all over now baby blue" in a movie a few weeks back, and once i slotted it into the outro, it just clicked. Sometimes you just know when somethings working well!!

Well, it'll be in your hands tomorrow, and just wanted to thank all you guys again for your patronage. The fact that anyone is willing to pay even a dollar for these videos genuinely makes me stupid levels of happy. And i just hope you enjoy the end result of 4 weeks of madness that is "Humble in Victory, Death Threats in Defeat"!
