This week, we bring you an update filled with a variety of stories: land maintenance, exploration, and a visit from our neighbors to Kamp. All of these stories are connected to the larger narrative of a region where the countryside is abandoned, invasive species are spreading, and wildfires strike every summer. This highlights the importance of recovering and stewarding rural areas like ours. We hope you enjoy it!

Hey, Trevor is from the kitchen team! Guess sometimes, you just need to step out of your routine.
Last week was Menno's final week with us, and while it's sad to see him go, we now have Josie, who will complete the outdoor kitchen for the Granite Ruin. 🏠
Meanwhile, in the bottom room, Miguel is making significant progress on the renovation of the walls and floor.
He is fully invested in the task. 🧢
Luckily, we have Anselmo to help cool him down and lend a hand. 🫶
And, lastly, bread is a constant presence; we can never have enough, both freshly baked and in photos.

What is done with all of the mimosa wood? My mind immediately goes to BBQ but I am Texan and am always thinking about bbq :)
