Hey Friends,

This week, we bring you an update on Basekamp Lake. We shaped one side in Season 3, and now we will shape the other side to create a gentle slope. The back part still needs work, but that will be for the future. We hope you enjoy it as much as our landscaping team does! 🚜🪓🌳

Look who is back from Season 4!

Alana came to visit for a week, and she jumped into the Mimosa stump removal experiment from last season (update coming soon) or helped with tasks like bread making... 🥖

...or assisted Julie in organizing our first open day with neighbors and friends from the area.

It was very exciting and quite a success! We had a mix of Portuguese and foreign friends who live nearby. They know us, but we never took the time to invite them to Project Kamp. It was a lovely evening with a potluck dinner 🍀 and some small tours for our friends to learn a bit more about what we do on the land. 😊

In the workspace, Balint took on the mission of helping the kitchen team by creating some steps for them.

The kitchen in the container was originally designed for a tall Dutch guy, so for the current kitchen team, things felt a bit out of reach. Now, with the steps, it’s much better. 👩‍🍳
