Project Kamp week ahead #145

This week we get back to the Granite Ruin 🏠 to work on the floor inside. What's special about it? We will make our own insulation panels out of clay and straw. It's a bit of a new try for us, but we count on Miguel who has been learning about it for some time. He wouldn't consider himself an expert, but he knows something about it.

And life goes on as usual at Kamp. Here are some photos of our week. First, you see workspace is getting excited about the Brick ruin renovation 🧱.
While temperatures are getting hotter and hotter 🌡️🥵. We are already getting some summer vibes.
The swales patch next to Basekamp needed some brushcutting. 🌿
And work on the ruin also keeps going! Besides the roof that you'll see finished next week, Miguel is starting with the inside walls. 🏡
Also working began on the bottom ruin door, but that will come later in the season when we actually renovate that room. But here is a sneak peak.
And Menno is working at lightspeed with the water extension project. 💧
To recover energy we have some delicious snacks. 😋
And many oranges still around...🙄
We also have some chill moments. After all the insulation madness Miguel is now going for a new challenge... beating Adrian at chess. ♟️
