There is truth in conformity in Japan no doubt, but trying to compare US and Japan is like comparing apples to oranges. They are both different cultures. Being open minded is the best approach. Great video concerning awareness. My mom is from Japan and I'm born in the US and I live in the US. So I kinda understand the cultural differences.
