Then & Now
Added 2017-04-04 19:48:25 +0000 UTCI've functionally drawn the last panel of the last page 3 times over the course of working on NTO, twice before starting the comic (the first is one of the first ever sketches of NTO and predates even nailing down the plot), and then of course now. 2 remains the objective best.
When I first started thinking about the comic's plotline I remember having the basic idea that a lot more time had elapsed between the "pyre" sequence and the comic's present day. JHH thus had aged into a much older man, and Vane looked even younger, and if I rightly recall I think I intended this to further obfuscate the nature of their past entanglements. I'm not really sure why I moved away from that, other than that I wanted to draw John Hunter as slightly younger & beefcakier?
