October 2022 Postcard Club - Tōkaidō Shinkansen over Fuji River

The Shinkansen has been a part of that history for 58 of those years and we show appreciation for it this month with Japan Post's special celebratory stamps. I'll send these from Shimbashi Station as well, where the first train departed in 1872 for Yokohama to those signed up by 10/10.
