My cousin lives in Japan? Would they consider her a valid sponsor? Tbh I wouldn’t ask her to carry something of that weight anyway. I think the overwhelming majority of people wanting to come to Japan want to go for their own reasons, and have their own list of things they want to see/do. If they don’t break the laws/rules, isn’t that pretty much an even level with pre-Covid times? Covid can’t be an excuse forever. That said, the fact that Japan switched gears from chaperoned to non-chaperoned tourism in only a few months’ time is pretty unheard-of. Here’s to hope that this is a good sign
