We are waiting for our 4-month language learning and city-hopping every 3 weeks to become possible. Without individual travel, this is impossible. We don’t care about visa or quarantine rules that much, even though these things save some time, too. But individual travel (or the lack thereof) is the real show-stopper for us. We are waiting for so long now, it’s destroying my wife’s career to be in “waiting mode” - we wanted to travel before she starts working after finishing university. We won’t wait no longer and she is searching for a job now instead. It’s a dream destroyed for me. I waited for my wife. Now I’m waiting for Japan. And it might be all too late after all for such a long trip once she starts working. 😔
