"Hokage-sama," someone called out.
"What happened?" Kakashi asked, glancing around, trying to assess the situation.
Turning toward the voice, he saw a familiar figure on the ground, slumped and barely conscious. Hiashi-san!" Kakashi exclaimed, rushing to his side.
As he knelt beside him, Kakashi noticed the dreadful state of Hiashi. his chakra nearly depleted, and several ribs were unmistakably broken. It was a miracle he had made it to them at all.
"Sasuke brought him here..." Kakashi murmured, his eyes darting toward the direction Sasuke had vanished. Immediately, he called for the medical team.
Meanwhile, Naruto was following the pulsating flow of Hinata's chakra, leading him deep into the underground base of the castle. In the shadows, Taneri awaited, standing with Hinata beside him.
"Hinata!" Naruto shouted, a sense of urgency creeping into his voice.
When repeated calls bore no response, he turned sharply to Toneri. "What did you do to her? Give Hinata back to me!"
A smug smile crept across Toneri's face. "No problem, I'll give her back to you," he said mockingly, raising his hand. Suddenly, Hinata lunged at Naruto as if compelled by an unseen force.
"Hinata, stop!" Naruto shouted, desperately trying to reason with her, but he found himself in an unexpected battle without the will to fight back. All he could do was defend against her relentless attacks while calling out to her.
Yet, no matter his pleas, Hinata continued to attack, her motions mechanical and devoid of her usual grace.
Toneri chuckled, "How about that? My wife's skills are impressive, aren't they?" But Naruto’s focus was elsewhere; he didn’t care for the taunts. His only concern was reaching Hinata through this haze of control.
Watching her attacks, a realization struck Naruto. "Is she being controlled by that guy?" he thought, quickly gathering his chakra, enveloping his hand in shimmering golden light. "Hinata, I'm sorry for what I'm about to do..."
He pressed his hand against Hinata's chest, focusing everything he had. As he grasped the orb of light that held her captive, flashes of her memories flooded his mind—Otsutsuki Hamura's wisdom, the struggles between the Otsutsuki families, and tender moments of Hinata crafting a scarf for him.
His heart raced with anger as he recalled these memories. With a fierce determination, he crushed the light sphere, declaring, "I won't allow you to control Hinata like some puppet!"
"Hinata belongs to me, I'm taking her back" Toneri said unfazed, merely lifting his hand as an invisible force yanked Hinata closer. "Hinata!" Naruto shouted, taking a step forward, only to be met with a powerful gust emanating from Toneri's palm, forcing him back into a wall.
As he scraped himself off the rubble, he spotted Hinata regaining her senses, only to find herself ensnared in Toneri's grip.
"It's not your time to wake up just yet…” Toneri sneered, trying to reignite his hold over her with another light sphere.
But just as Toneri prepared to exert control once more, his own strength faltered momentarily, thrusting him to the floor in stunned silence.
Realizing what was happening, Hinata charged toward Naruto. As he pulled himself free from the debris and saw her running towards him, he felt relief wash over him. "Naruto, I’m so sorry..." she began, but before she could finish, he enveloped her in a tight embrace.
"I know everything. You don’t need to explain. I’m the one who should apologize," he interrupted softly, holding her close.
In that moment, Hinata felt warmth radiating from Naruto, igniting a blush that colored her cheeks as she leaned her head against his chest, overwhelmed.
[Uzumaki Hinata: Don’t look at it!!]
[Kushina: Well done, Naruto! You move just like your dad!]
[Uchiha Sakura: If this were before, Hinata would have fainted!]
[Uzumaki Boruto: Wait, did mom actually faints when she saw dad?]
[Uchiha Sasuke: I heard that Hinata adored this idiot for years. And he... he once said she was a “good person” before leaving the village.]
[Uzumaki Boruto: Dad, you...]
[Uzumaki Naruto: That was all in the past.]
[Senju Hashirama: Never thought the Seventh Hokage would struggle so much with his feelings!]
[Senju Tobirama: As if it wasn't you who took ages to realize you were getting married.]
[Senju Hashirama:...]
[Sarutobi Hiruzen: Naruto has truly grown.]
[Jiraiya: Now, all I need is to find someone to marry...]
Hinata, wanting to relish the warmth of Naruto's embrace, suddenly recalled their mission. She broke free and insisted, "There’s something urgent we must do! We need to destroy the Tenseigan!"
"The Tenseigan?" Naruto replied, puzzled, yet fully willing to follow her as she rushed out, determined to end this.
As they raced towards their goal, Sakura and Sai had just breached the encampment of the puppets and reached Hanabi’s chamber.
"Hanabi!" they called out. But their hearts sank at the sight before them. Hanabi was swathed in gauze, the sorrowful hollows where her eyes used to be making it painfully clear that she had been violated.
Sakura bent down, gently brushing the hair from Hanabi's face, her voice trembling, "This is too much for a child..."
They had never anticipated the horror of someone desiring to harm an innocent like her.
"Come on, Hanabi. We need to get you out of here," Sakura urged, tenderly lifting her sister in her arms, gathering pieces of the shredded scarf at her feet, and quickly escaping with Sai.
With determination pounding through their veins, Hinata and Naruto arrived at a colossal energy ball, its radiant light illuminating the entire room like an artificial sun.
She turned to Naruto, explaining, "This is the Tenseigan. If we destroy it, the moon will no longer be in danger."
Naruto cracked his knuckles, ready to unleash his Rasengan. "Got it! Just watch me smash this thing!"
But Hinata, eyes wide with concern, stopped him. "Hold on! It’s cursed. Anyone not of Hamura's bloodline will have their chakra drained instantly!”
Naruto’s heart dropped at her words, recalling how the last encounter with such a curse had nearly cost him his life.
"I’ll take care of this!" Hinata declared, stepping forward to confront the ominous swirling energy. Her fists clenched tightly, chakra swirling around her, forming two majestic, powerful lion heads.
With all the energy she had, she launched herself toward the Tenseigan, her voice ringing out with determination: "Eight Trigrams Twin Lion Surging Shot!"
