Naruto: Check out these scenes #28

[Ding! Time for the second question!]

As the system’s voice echoed in the air, everyone momentarily paused their previous discussions. Madara, however, remained fixated on what Naruto and the others had said, his curiosity piqued.

[Question: Was Uchiha Hikari truly saved? Or did he return to the Uchiha clan, destined to be just another weapon?]

[A correct answer will grant a random restoration event. A wrong answer will cost a ninjutsu.]

[A. Yes]

[B. No]

[Please submit your answers!]

Without hesitation, the Fourth Raikage slammed his fist down on the button, a confident grin spreading across his face as he glanced at the dull thud left behind by his impact. “This one’s a no-brainer!” he exclaimed. “You all heard the stories! Uchiha Hikari lived a happy life afterward! And since Boruto doesn’t remember those times, it’s clear she can’t be just a weapon anymore!”

The others looked on, some amused, others resigned. With their swift responses, the Fourth Hokage and Shunshin Shisui opted to sit out, leaving only the physically impressive ninjas from the Hidden Cloud Village to answer the question.

“It’s gotta be A!” the Raikage proclaimed again, his conviction unwavering as excitement shimmered in his eyes. “You can bet your chakra on that!”

[The Fourth Raikage Ay answered correctly! His reasoning score is 50% complete, rewarding him with the restoration of his left arm and an additional upgrade to his Lightning Release Armor by 50%.]

"Ha! I dug my own hole, and now I'm reaping the benefits!” he exclaimed triumphantly.

As soon as the system’s voice faded, the Fourth Raikage’s severed arm reformed before their eyes, his new limb emerging as strong and durable as before. He flexed his fingers, marveling at the sensation. "What a rush! I can’t even feel a difference. If I didn’t know better, I’d think I never lost it!"

“Incredible!” he shouted, laughter spilling forth. He quickly activated the enhanced Lightning Release Armor for the first time.

“Whoa…” He was left in awe, feeling the raw, amplified power surging through him. “If just a boost of 50% can make my defense impenetrable, imagine what a full 100% could do! It’s mind-blowing!”

Onoki raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming at the corners of his mouth. "Didn’t think you had it in you to strategize,” he quipped, feigning surprise.

The Fourth Raikage waved his hand dismissively, grinning. “What, you doubted us? We're not just a bunch of muscle-bound idiots!”

Killer Bee chimed in, “Yo! Don’t underestimate~, don’t get it twisted!~ We got brains too~, yeah, we stay gifted! Especially this genius~, sharp like a blade,
Mind so bright, got the whole game swayed!!~” He gestured mockingly at the Raikage, who rolled his eyes while doing a rap sign.

“Oh, please,” Onoki replied, annoyance creeping into his tone. “You lot still haven’t answered a single question correctly. Good luck with that!”

[Ding! Next is the third question.]

[Question: Who is the descendant of Otsutsuki Toneri, and what is his connection to Uzumaki Naruto?]

[There’s no penalty for a correct answer, and those who knew the answer can’t respond to this question.]

The new generation, including Naruto and his friends, were well aware of Otsutsuki from their past experiences with the moon crisis.

Since this wasn’t a quick-answer competition, most were deep in thought, racking their brains for the answer.

Terumi Mei furrowed her brow. “I don't think I've ever heard that surname before. What gives?”

“Really?” one of the younger ninjas replied, equally puzzled. It wasn't just the young who looked confused; even Ohnoki seemed lost at sea, his brow furrowed in perplexity.

Finally, it was Madara who broke the silence. “Otsutsuki—now that’s a name worth knowing. It’s linked directly to the Sage of Six Paths, the origin of all ninja.”

He turned to Naruto. “You, Uzumaki boy, were surprised when Otsutsuki Toneri made his entrance earlier. What do you know about him?”

[Ding! Please refrain from directly questioning involved parties.]

Hearing the system’s warning, it dawned on everyone why Naruto and his comrades were not allowed to answer—they know the answer.

Naruto shrugged, a sheepish smile crossing his face. “Can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet.”

Tobirama, piecing together the clues, chimed in, “From my observations, the relationship between the Seventh Hokage and Toneri must be particularly intriguing.”

Hashirama stroked his chin thoughtfully. “If two men are connected like that, they're either friends or rivals.”

“Aha!” Madara scoffed with a chuckle, his eyes glinting with mischief.

Naruto couldn’t help but smile shyly, knowing Hashirama had hit the nail on the head. After all, Toneri’s interference had helped him realize he had deep feelings for Hinata. It was a twist of fate that he would never trade.

This playful moment was matched by simultaneous exclamations from Madara and Tobirama.

Madara shouted, “Friends!” while Tobirama quipped, “Love rival!”

[Ding! Congratulations to Senju Tobirama for answering correctly! His reward: a 100% enhancement to his Water Release techniques.]

Watching the system grant this fragment of power, the expressions around him turned sour. “Great! Now his Water Jutsu is going to rival the ocean itself! Mizukage will be in deep trouble if he ever faces Tobirama!”

“Love rival?!” The crowd erupted in surprised murmurs, with many caught off guard. Who would have thought that Toneri, Boruto’s godfather, was embroiled in Naruto's romantic life?

"Dad, what’s this history between you and Mr. Toneri?” Himawari piped up, voice full of intrigue.

“Hinata-chan, spill the tea!” laughed Kushina, leaning in, eyes bright with curiosity about the long-buried drama.

Naruto chuckled, placing a protective hand on Hinata's shoulder. “Alright, alright. Let’s set the record straight. This story goes way back to the era of the Sage of Six Paths…”

“Long ago, the Sage had a brother named Otsutsuki Hamura. After sealing Kaguya, Hamura stayed on Earth while his brother went to the moon.”

Naruto explained, his tone sliding into serious reflection. “He watched over Kaguya’s remnant, the Outer Path Statue.”

Madara countered, a skeptical look crossing his face. “But how is that possible? There’s no air on the moon; survival would be impossible! Sure, an Otsutsuki might manage it, but not any regular people!”

Naruto shook his head, “True, but they lived inside the moon.”

Boruto chimed in, curious. “Okay, but how did you and Toneri become involved, Dad?”

"Well, that’s where things get interesting. There was a civil war among the Otsutsuki on the moon, and only Toneri remained. They needed to pass on their bloodline, specifically to unlock the Tenseigan.”

“Tenseigan?” Madara exclaimed, surprised. “You mean the Byakugan—or was it upgraded?”

Then Hinata, emboldened, added, “Before they left for the moon, Toneri even sent puppets to kidnap Hanabi, transplanting her eyes into a special version of the Byakugan called the Tenseigan.”
