Naruto: Check out these scenes! #27

After watching the video come to an end, Boruto placed a hand on his chest and let out a sigh of relief. "So that’s how it is. I knew it all along, didn’t I? Even if I forget, the bond we’ve forged will always remain in my heart." His smile mirrored the warmth flooding through him.

Even at the start of the video, he felt a strange discomfort around Uchiha Hikari, as if their destinies were intertwined in ways he couldn’t fully understand.

Confusion clouded his thoughts then. He didn’t even know Uchiha Hikari, yet a part of him inexplicably cared for her as if she were family. Now, everything fell into place. His past self had risked everything to restore her life.

And Boruto felt no regret about it. "If I could choose again, I would save her in a heartbeat," he resolved. To him, the mere concept of "friend" was worth any sacrifice.

"That’s my boy!" came a proud voice from behind him.

"Well, it was messy, but in the end, it turned out all right, didn’t it?" another voice chimed in, filled with warmth.

"What a remarkable grandson we have!" praised Kushina, her eyes sparkling with pride.

"Truly brave!" Minato added, a rare smile gracing his lips.

At that moment, even Hashirama Senju, the legendary God of Ninjas, joined in, praising Boruto's actions. After all, Boruto had placed everything on the line. Had Uchiha Hikaru not been convinced by his determination, he would have truly perished in the past.

Yet, as they celebrated Boruto’s courage, a darker cloud hung over the other villages.

Here was Boruto, a mere Genin, who had dared to venture into the brutal Warring States Period alone to rescue individuals from the ruthless Uchiha clan.

Were all the people from Konoha truly extraordinary?

This was the ongoing thought among everyone in the other ninja villages. Sure, the Seventh Hokage was powerful, and Sasuke wielded the formidable Rinnegan, but why was Boruto so remarkable even as a child?

Now, as a young man, he bore a maturity beyond his years, and everyone knew his strength would only continue to grow.

[Ding! It's question time now.]

[First question: What abilities does Uchiha Hikari's Mangekyō Sharingan possess, and where do these abilities originate?]

[Answer correctly to earn a resurrection card, which can be used to bring any deceased person back to life. Answer incorrectly, and the chakra of the individual who answers will be halved—permanently.]

Hesitation spread among Raikage and his companions upon hearing the penalty. The thought of a simple chakra reduction might not seem that severe; they could always train harder. But to have it halved indefinitely? They would live with reduced strength, forever hindered in battle.

After all, in the ninja world, chakra was fundamental to their abilities. Exhausted chakra made one weak and vulnerable.

In a previous battle, with full chakra, Naruto and Sasuke created earth-shattering waves of power. But as soon as they ran out, they were left defenseless and weak.

Boruto himself, as a Genin, showed the importance of chakra levels. After harnessing the incredible power of the Eight Thousand Spears, he dominated every confrontation.

And now, in this moment, he overshadowed many seasoned warriors with the mere hint of his potential.

"Hmph! What a bunch of cowards!" Madara scoffed, rolling his eyes at those who hesitated.

His arms crossed over his chest, he boldly declared, "Let me take a crack at this.”

"Uchiha Hikaru's Mangekyō has only one true ability, and that's [Yachihoko]!."

Expressions of disbelief washed over the crowd. "Madara, are you out of your mind? Didn’t she display the powers of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi earlier?”

Hashirama could no longer remain silent, his voice mixing incredulity with irritation as he interjected. “You just saw her use both abilities! How can you claim there’s only one?”

“I didn’t expect even a genius like you to trip up like this,” Madara retorted, unfazed.

“Brother…” Hashirama shook his head, half-amused. “You’ve been so brilliant your entire life, but this moment? What were you thinking?”

Madara's statement led to ridicules and laughter, while others looked on with concern. They pressed for clarification.

"The history of my Uchiha clan shows that users of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi aren’t as uncommon as you think. Those techniques can be transplanted,” Madara explained with a hint of arrogance.

Gasps filled the air. “What do you mean, they can be transplanted?”

Many exchanged shocked expressions. Tobirama, though maintaining an unreadable facade, perked up, intrigued.

“Impossible. Yet, isn’t it a secret technique exclusive to the Uchiha?” Madara’s tone turned pointed as he directed his words at Tobirama.

Tobirama, caught between irritation and resignation, simply ignored the jab, knowing he could never match Madara's powers.

“But have you considered Uchiha Hikari’s significance to our clan?” Madara continued, his voice steady. “Her one focus has always been [Yachihoko], so it aligns with my theory.”

“Since she wields that terrifying technique, to ensure survivability on the battlefield, surely her abilities—like Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi—were granted by the others' Mangekyō Sharingan.”

[Uchiha Madara answered correctly. The reward for his accuracy is a resurrection card. If the answer is 100% accurate, all ninjutsu powers will double.]

As the system’s voice faded, a powerful surge of chakra erupted around Madara, lighting up the arena.

Shocked gasps fell from his allies as Madara, too, stared in awe at his own hands, feeling energy coursing through him. A twisted grin stretched across his face.

"Ha, hahahaha! No need for reincarnation now!” he exclaimed, the joy bubbling up within him.

“Madara, what’s wrong with you?”

“Madara’s just thrilled about his Infinite Tsukuyomi plan,” Sasuke cut in, rolling his eyes.

"How do you know that?" Madara asked with a raised brow.

“We’re from the future, remember?” Sasuke shot back, his tone tinged with jest.

“One way or another, I refuse to fail like the version of me from your world,” Madara declared, his confidence unfaltering.

"I never said your plan failed," Sasuke replied, equally resolute.

Madara's excitement faded as confusion took its place. He had set plans in motion long ago, meticulously designed to ensure there was always a path to his ultimate goal.

According to clan legends inscribed on ancient tablets, the Infinite Tsukuyomi would trap everyone in a dream forever; success was inevitable, but... why would they speak of it in such uncertain terms?

[7th Hokage, you can talk, but no spoiler.]

Naruto shrugged, feeling slightly exasperated with the task at hand. “It’s complicated. What’s certain is that your plan is simultaneously a success and a failure.”

[Ding! Next up is the second question.]
