Boruto: A Tool Chap#7

//AN:\\ Sorry I wasn't able to upload immediately. Just got the news that my best girl doggo, Shasha was diagnosed with canine distemper. These past few days hadn't been fun to say the least, my depression has reached rocket high, I'm not kidding about it. I just want my dog to be fine right away, I hope nothing bad happens to her. Anyways, due to my depressing life, it's possible that I won't be able to update until my doggo is healed, so, I'm very sorry about that, I hope y'all understand.

A few days later...

While sight-seeing the streets of Konoha, seeing the Konoha that is now, took me by surprise. I know that the level of technology in this world is weird, but for it to be this weird, greatly shook me to my core.

Based on the progress that this world is currently in, the Shinobis would be just another choice of career in the near future. And seeing how dangerous it is to be a Shinobi, it will only be a question of when will the age of Shinobi will dissapear...

'I'm overthinking things... More technological advancements meant the more a civilization will need an energy, and there's only one unique energy in this world that will meet that criteria, Chakra.'

Thinking that, I looked at the Hokage Rock that is overlooking the entirety of Konoha. I was currently dressed in a simple attire, white and yellow haori, its long sleeves was enough to cover up my bandaged arm, dark pants and a wooden sandals.

Standing in a wooden red bridge, behind me are the citizens of Konoha, all of them enjoying their walks.

'The world that Naruto created, huh. Interesting.' I thought to myself while unfolding the map of Konoha that I'm holding.

There are a lot of districts in Konoha and most of them, a lot of clans have already settled into. The part where my house is located is near the Market district, and it was relatively close to the Nara Clan district.

Actually, it was the perfect spot for me because my house was close to the outskirts of Konoha where 18th training ground was in. The records says that the training ground was part of the Nara clan's area, but for some reason, no one used them.

'Probably because they're too lazy to train and walked outside the outskirts of Konoha when they can just share a training ground with the Akimichi clan that is much closer to them.' I thought to myself with a small chuckle, while analyzing the map that I was holding.

'Next stop... Konoha library. I need to update my understanding on this world's technology, I must especially research on that Kaminarimon company to see if I could make use of them.'

Deciding on that, I finally took a step, intending to make my way to my destination, when I suddenly noticed someone standing in front of me.

"Koushin-kun, right?" Looking up at the figure infront of me, I was met with a familiar face.

"Choji-san. It's good to see you here," I greeted him with a small bow.

Choji laughed jovially at my greeting while scratching the back of his head. I then looked beside him and noticed a girl, with a height almost similar to mine, with almost the same contour as him, only a much darker skin, and a reddened hair. Both of them were currently eating some potato chips...

"Likewise, Koushin-kun. I'm glad you're out of the hospital now. I heard Shikamaru plans to take you to the Hokage office, right?"

"Yes, Choji-san. Though, I'm quite nervous, it's the Hokage I'm going to meet after all, any tips for me?"

Choji laughed at my question as he answered, "You don't need to be nervous around Naruto! He's one of the most kindest person I know? Anyways, what are you doing now, sight-seeing?"

"Yes. When grandpa and I immigrated into Konoha, we really didn't have the time to looked around and have fun with ourselves, so I'm doing it in his stead."

"I see... You're a strong person, Koushin-kun. I know it's rough right now, but if you need help, we'll be happy to help you."

"Thanks Choji-san, if there's nothing else, I must go now. Let's of places to see, you know?" Saying that, I continued on my walk, after bidding my farewell to Choji and the little girl beside her who I assumed to be his daughter.

'I wonder if there's any updated family tree of the clans of Konoha in the library, gotta read that too.' With that in mind, I walked towards the Konoha Library, with an unfolded map in front of me, holding it with my one and only trusty right hand.

Inside the Konoha Library. It has been an hour since Koushin decided to look for information on the updated family tree of the different notable clans in Konoha.

And seeing his findings, he was both surprised and amazed by what he found out.

'As expected, Naruto did become the husband of Hinata. And they have two children too!'

Also, Sasuke and Sakura, huh. Looks like Sakura's work have taken fruits, good for her...'

Truthfully, he wasn't supposed to be in this part of the library, but he seems to noticed that the security in Konoha, for a hidden village is a little... lax. The only people inside the library were a librarian in her teens, and currently, that librarian was eating a chips while reading what seemed to be a romance novel.

'I guess being in peace have change them... Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times. A never ending cycle. And considering what my mission dictates, I'll be having a hard time finding some worthy allies.

Yes, allies. Even though the abilities that were given to me were out of this world, I can't overestimate myself, because that would only put me in danger. This world is still full of mysteries, mysteries that could kill me in just a heartbeat, such is the human life...' Koushin thought while sighing and shaking his head.

If anyone can hear what Koushin's thoughts right now, they would be stupefied because of the deep thoughts that he possessed, fortunately, that was not the case.

While browsing through the library, Koushin also thought to browsed on the Biology section to gather knowledge as much as he can in preparation for what he was planning to his future.

'Even though Henkanshihai and Kanteigan are both excellent abilities, it would be much preferable if I could have more, more specifically, Kekei Genkais. If my theory is right, then it may be possible that I could do that...'

Just like that, Koushin delved himself in his studies. During his stay in the library, he found out that the human physiology of the people on this world was very different from his previous world. An example of that is his strength now, even though, he has an appearance of a child, his strength would already be the average strength of an adult in his previous world.

He still doesn't know what the cause of that because there's not much that he could learn on a public library, but at least he now has something that he could focus on.

Meanwhile, at Hokage Residence, one blonde tired Hokage was sitting restless at his seat. Seeing the numerous scrolls towering over his desk caused his face to morph in annoyance.

'Looks like I won't be coming home tonight again... I should make up with Hinata after this,' Naruto thought as he sighed. As he picked up on the next scroll for him to sign, the door to his room suddenly opened.

"Yo, Naruto. I've already received a letter from the Tsuchikage about the child." Nara Shikamaru entered with a relaxed posture with hands on his pocket.

He stepped inside and made a strange face while staring at his best friend Hokage's state.

"Oi, oi, how long have you been awake? Don't tell me you didn't come home ever since Choji arrived?"

"Hehe..." Hearing Shikamaru's question, Naruto scratched his head in guilt.

"Well, I have an idea on what to do about the child, but I still don't know if Kurotsuchi will allow it," Naruto said as he pinch his nose bridge.

"You'll ask Kurotusuchi to allow Koushin to enroll in the academy, right?" Shikamaru said with a tired sigh. Knowing Naruto, Shikamaru was sure that Naruto would do anything to make that child feel that he have some belonging in Konoha due to pity, and to do that, he would need some friends.

"As expected, you already knew, Shikamaru. So? Do you think it's possible?"

"The Tsuchikage said that the child can stay here in the meantime, she also specifically said that if possible, raise the protections for the child, it looks like what I predicted did indeed came true. The child has awakened a Kekei Genkai."

"Yeah, I've read the report. You wrote that his Kekei Genkai is the same with that Akatsuki guy, right? Deidara was it?"

"Yeah, I've already sent Sasuke a messenger bird to ask him everything he knows about Deidara, we can't exactly allow someone with explosion release just freely walked around Konoha, less he stumbled upon an accident, can't we?"

"That seems harsh, Shikamaru... But, you're right. Now that I think about it, do you think she's perfect for the job?" Naruto asked while showing Shikamaru a Shinobi information scroll.

Shikamaru rubbed his beard for a few seconds before nodding.

"I think she'll do well. Beside, she's been pestering the HQ for some mission now, might as well give it to her. Make it a B-rank mission so she will get pump up!" Shikamaru suggested while doing a thumbs up. As he said that, Naruto quickly scribbled on the scroll while making a funny face.
