Hey y'all!

Okay. Let's try this:

Since I can no longer guarantee that the videos on my separate ad-free channel will be ad-free, I'm going to try uploading an additional version of each new video to my main channel, but leave that second one unlisted and non-monetized.

(In case any of you missed this discussion, YouTube now places ads wherever they want on non-partnered channels—like my ad free one—and creators can't control that. Only partnered channels can control whether there are ads on their videos.)

HOWEVER, I am just a little concerned. Hopefully y'all won't notice any issues at all, and this will be a smooth transition, but I know that YouTube has, in the past, occasionally had issues with the same video being uploaded more than once ... I don't know if I could potentially get any videos flagged as a result, or if there's any chance of videos being taken down. I've added a brief, 5-second new video card for these unlisted, ad-free version, so hopefully that will be enough to qualify it as a "different" video.

Hopefully this will work seamlessly, and you won't be getting a too-long stressed out email in a few weeks about how I need to figure something else out. :)
