A Wishlist

Hey y’all!

So, Throne wish lists have been a big thing lately among YouTubers and streamers. I decided to try one: https://throne.me/u/jbgreen

I know that some people feel uncomfortable with content creators asking for money or gifts. But I also know that some people really enjoy the opportunity to give. I have my own specific set of rules when it comes to giving—whether it’s giving time, energy, money, gifts, or anything else.

If:

1. Someone asks ...
AND
2. I have it to give ...
AND
3. I feel called/inspired to give ...

… then I give. It’s a simple set of rules that has worked well for me. So, as someone who enjoys giving when I can and when I’m inspired to, I feel that wishlists are consistent with my own personal values.

PLEASE know that I’m not suffering without any of the items on the list. They’re just things that would be lovely and helpful to have. I know that most viewers can’t or won’t want to use the wishlist for a whole variety of reasons, and I’m very, totally, completely okay with that. We all have countless opportunities each day to help others, and I know that y'all are out there doing that in your own ways. Just sharing this as an option for you.
