Feedback Request! Quick Poll
Added 2021-11-10 03:50:35 +0000 UTCHey y'all!
I've been playing around with the idea of making extended or alternate versions of my YT videos available for purchase. For example, I might upload a massage role play to YouTube, but make an alternate version of the same video with rain sounds in the background available for purchase.
This feels like a tricky thing to do, because I would want the alternate, for-purchase videos to be something that genuinely adds value in some way, but without making the primary, free YT versions feel somehow "less than". Does that make sense?
One of my big concerns is regarding you all, my patrons. Your support means so much to me, and I wouldn't want any of you to feel slighted if I made videos available for purchase elsewhere without also making them available here for you. So, if I try this experiment, I could ...
A) Upload the alternate versions to the ad-free channel as well, as an additional perk for all patrons.
B) Upload the alternate versions to the ad-free channel as well, but only as a perk for certain patrons (like $3 and up, or something.)
C) Just keep it as a fully separate thing.
As an additional piece of info, I haven't yet decided on pricing for those alternate versions (it will depend on which platform I sell them through) but I'm hoping to keep it pretty low, in the $1–$3 range.
I was hoping that y'all would be willing to share your thoughts? You're all more than welcome to share any thoughts or ideas in the comments, but if you could at least let me know your preference between those 3 options above by answering the poll, I would super appreciate it.
Thank you!❤️
Love,
JB
