Are Any of Y’all Familiar with EDS?
Added 2019-12-13 03:43:53 +0000 UTCHello wonderful people! This isn’t so much about ASMR, but it’s very much about me. I hope you don’t mind, but I’m trying to throw kind of a wide net for insight here:
So, like maybe a YEAR ago, when I publicly shared all my chronic health issues, multiple people suggested I might have Ehlers Danlos. I looked it up and dismissed it as a possible diagnosis because I thought, “That condition involves stretchy skin and hypermobility, and I have neither.” In related news, it somehow took me over 37 years to realize that I have stretchy skin and hypermobility. How did I never notice?! (FYI that 🙏 pic on the lower left is my back.) Anyway, if any of y’all are familiar with EDS and feel up to sharing any helpful info, I’m trying to figure out which kind of specialist I should look up so I can be assessed. Thanks!

I actually got diagnosed with Hypermobilty recently. My younger sister also got told that she is Hypermoble as well, and our mom also most-likely has it too, but she never went to get checked for it. I have to get an ultra-sound done on my heart because of it, I'm getting that done this friday.
