Damn it, I forgot again!

2. Because I entered #1 and stopped. I know the channel is sharing Japan with the world. What about sharing other foreign things like French cuisine but done in Japan? Doesn’t have to be that exactly.

Since it’s unseasonably cold here in NYC today, I decided to rewatch your video from Lake Akan and the Ainu village. One of the funniest videos you’ve posted! Hope you go back again this Winter, with some warmer clothing this time, LOL.

What is the oldest building or part of a settlement where you are located today? What is your favorite mascot & who started that? By the way, I appreciate the info about wheelchairs you have added! Do most people in Japan think of pets or service animals the same way as in the US? Can people take service dogs to Japan? In Hawaii, it seems that some people think of dogs and cats as a barnyard types of animals and not as a pet and absolutely not a family member. Where do you see exotic or non indigenous animals in Japan? Are they mostly forbidden for import? What is the most exotic trees you have seen? Do they have Camphor Trees near you? Like in Totoro? Kamo no Okusu (蒲生のクス, the Great Camphor of Kamo) or Banyon Trees? We have several Banyon Trees donated from Japan here in Hilo, Hawaii. What places seem more fantasy, magical or surreal where you have been? Please send our love to little Leo Rio, ( River Lion!) & Kanae!

Hi John, and congratulations on all of your positive news this year between the channel and your family. Some of my favorite videos of yours on your previous channel include the one where you are riding the Sunrise Express to Izumo, and the bicycle climb up and down the Eshima Ohashi. I was curious whether or not you plan to film new or updated versions of some of your most popular videos in the future. Thanks so much!

Why is Japan called Japan everywhere In the world except for in Japan, why is it Nippon in Japan but It’s called Japan everywhere else and how did the name Japan come about?

Hi John! First, please give our warm greetings to Kanae and Rio 💕 Our question is, do you know if getting a long-term visa is available, as our grandparents were born in Japan and we located their koseki. And since both are deceased, does the guarantor have to be a blood relative, or can it be a friend, a Japanese national living in Japan? If it has to be a relative, then it looks like we’ll have to take a trip to the small town where they are located and hopefully find someone...? Thanks 😊

Hi John, would you ever do an episode on “great day trips from Tokyo”? When things open up & we can return to Japan, I think this could be useful information. (Or have you already covered this topic in the past?) Thanks John!

I hear tons about the food scene in Osaka, but little about non-food tourist sites. Tokyo has boatloads of sites within the city, including Sensō-ji, Ueno, Shinjuku, Shinjuku Gyoen, Harajuku, the Kichijoji cat cafe (great video! We visited b/c of your video), etc. Kyoto also has tons of sites. Could you speak about sites to see in Osaka?

Hi John, have you ever visited the Takachiho gorge in Kyushu?
