2021-03-12 04:20:37 +0000 UTCThe workers and volunteers are so brave and I can’t imagine how tired they must have been. It reminds me of the firefighters that have been battling the nasty fires in California this past year. People give so much to help others and we that that for granted.

2021-03-11 13:37:10 +0000 UTCI didn’t want to share this on YouTube, but as someone who was recently diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety back in 2019, this clearly had a traumatic imprint on you and your body. I noticed it in your eyes and body stiffness when you had to do the simulation. The “freeze” reaction. It’s strange how trauma and stress can shape our reactions to similar events in the future. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story and to bring awareness on ways to be prepared. I can’t imagine what you or others experienced that day and my heart breaks for those who lost family and friends during this tragic event.

They were very highly respected and appreciated for their skills and work in NZ. Then they had to rush away home to help with there. Can’t imagine how exhausted they must have been. Very sad time.
