They're the last part of Japan many see before the plane accelerates to the skies for the voyage home, This view is the focus on this month's postcard club photo - I was in Aomori shooting at their small airport, in a heavy snowstorm, the crew didn't flinch. Aomori is the world's snowiest city and they've never had a cancellation - due to snow. I was very impressed with how seriously they take their job. A big thank you to the people who make everyday just work and give us a smile at the end of it all. These will be sent this weekend :) by airmail. Stamp to be announced soon!

Just received the airplane postcard (February 12) . Did see this respect every time Iβve flown in or out of Narita. U.S. military shows respect on aircraft carriers and for unique planes from ground bases. ( salutes and precision marching)
