Patreon Q&A April 2019 no.1 - FROM MIYAZAKI
Added 2019-04-06 15:56:08 +0000 UTCApril 8th @ 10:45pm (Japan Time) ~40 minutes long (SAUMRAI LEVEL and UP)
Hello everyone! I'll be doing our first live Q&A from Miyazaki with Kanae. We're going on our first Patreon sponsored trip together to film an episode - The Miyazaki Mango Auction. Many YouTubers have made videos on expensive fruits, but I want to know why? How can a mango cost $3000? So I called Miyazaki's City office and got a press pass to the auction held once a year! It's on the 8th. To say thank you, we'll stream from the same hotel where I stayed at for the Naked Man Festival in January. Feel free to leave questions below (all supporters). It will be most likely around 10:45pm which will be a little early for California. It'll probably go on until around 11:20 or so. SKYPE call in may be possible. Please leave me a note below if your interested so I can queue this up :) I'll have to keep it simple since we're on the road. Looking forward to talking to you and catching up!!
WORLD SCHEDULE:
New York 4/8 @ 9:45am
California 4/8 @ 6:45am
Singapore 4/8 @ 11:45pm
Brisbane 4/9 @ 00:45
Frankfurt 4/8 @ 3:45pm
London 4/8 @ 2:45pm

2019-04-08 13:58:18 +0000 UTCHope this isn't a dumb question, but are tourists allowed to buy one-way airplane tickets into Japan? I'm looking for a quick and hopefully cheaper way to get from Tokyo to Osaka. Is there a Japanese equivalent of Jet Blue? If not I'll spring for a Nozomi ticket.

2019-04-08 11:51:52 +0000 UTCCoffee culture in Japan is deep.... Check the link below, it’s a good guide for visitors in Japan:) I love coffee tool specially medium roast, some coffee shop specialised in dark roast or etc... every time I go home in Tokyo I check the website to find out which one is gonna be my taste;) my favourite is Light up coffee in Kichijoji. Because it’s not far from my home, I always support local businesses;) https://tokyocoffee.org/

2019-04-08 08:46:22 +0000 UTCHi John So I was wondering Other than the big chain coffee stores such a Starbucks what kind of mom and pop coffee shops are there in Japan? As a coffee drinker what other places do you like to go to to get coffee other than Starbucks?

2019-04-08 06:24:59 +0000 UTCHi John, thanks again so much for the call the previous time round! Just a couple of follow-up questions for now pertaining to my upcoming GW hitchhiking trip. 1. How did you manage to keep your devices (camera, phone, spare batteries) charged up, especially on days when you had to camp outdoors? 2. I'm going to be bringing an action camera along with me to document my travels, but I figure a proper camera tripod would be too large and heavy to lug around. What would you recommend as an alternative?

2019-04-06 18:25:17 +0000 UTCHi, I was wondering if it has become more challenging to find topics for your episodes and streams over the years? Is it even more fun these days since you have to dig deeper and are able to cover things nobody else has? Thanks and keep up the great work :)
