Question which is somewhat inspired by your Narita bus stream the other day ....... is there any situation where taking a bus to get from A to B WITHIN Tokyo would be a better option than taking the train/subway e.g. as an alternate to avoid the rush hour packed trains ? Or is the railway network always going to be first choice ? Do you ever catch buses within Tokyo yourself ?

Definitely worth the subscription price :-D My question is; Based on your almost 20 years of living there; What do you see changing in Japan, if anything, over the next maybe 10 years? Especially with the challenges of an ageing population, declining birth rate and those moving from the countryside to cities. Sorry it’s a bit of a deep one, so feel free to skip it :-)
