Just left Mitsuwa in San Jose! The wagyu is purchased as already cooked on skewers or in rice bowls. I don’t think you can purchase the raw meat - which might not be a bad thing considering how John burned his batch at the restaurant lol. They also have a lot of other items from Ibaraki like their famous sweet potatoes and strawberries - all fresh! Last week Mitsuwa also had products from Sugi bee company out of Kyoto. Great visit for my wife and I - thanks Nosh!!

2019-03-09 19:11:52 +0000 UTCI've seen Wagyu beef at the local H Mart and at Mitsuwa. But I don't know the country of origin. Next week I'll be in Arlington Heights volunteering for a pet rescue group at a HUGE pet Expo. So the plan is to go to Mitsuwa, which is actually in Arlington Heights, before or after the event. I'll let y'all know what kind of beef is there. Yum!
