2019-03-01 16:03:37 +0000 UTCI actually contemplated using the ¥1000 buses from Narita to Tokyo when I arrived but opted to use the Limousine bus instead. The cheaper buses will allow you one check in luggage and will require a taxi transfer once you get to Tokyo or Ginza station unless your hotel is walking distance from those stations. The limousine bus service though is more expensive, does allow two checked luggages and have stops at various hotels around the city. The extra luggage capacity will save you on luggage shipping services which can cost upwards of ¥2678 yen per suitcase. Also you will save on taxi fare as well which can vary. Taxis have limited luggage space so if you are traveling with more than 3 people in your party, you may need additional taxis to carry extra luggage and people. For a business traveler with minimal luggage, these ¥1000 buses are fantastic. However for the tourist traveler especially in the colder winter months with lots of luggage, other buses or trains maybe cheaper overall.
