Q&A Follow Up for JAN 2019 no.1
Added 2019-01-09 00:12:48 +0000 UTC(1) DISCORD SERVER - we'll try to get this going in Jan / Feb :)
(2) Animated OIJ Opening - I'll have an update mid month with the animators!
(3) OIJ Team - looking for 1-2 people to film and edit IN JAPAN. Ideally Japanese so we have a balanced series with a Japanese POV. I've put in local ads so OIJ is hiring and growing.
(4) Patreon Funded Episode: One thing I missed - this year I will do more Patreon funded episodes like Abashiri, Aogashima, Ogasawara Island :) Please list suggestions below. I'd like to hit the four corners of the country and look for stories. Get back to Shikoku! Koi, Matcha ... Carolyn will like these! haha
(5) Equipment upgrade - 2019 is a tech expansion year and a new camera, gimbal, computer etc.
(6) MERCHANDISE!! It will happen in 2019.
(7) Strengthen our community! More scheduled meet ups in Japan - and a couple of oversea trips to say hi when I can.
Leave me any other ideas below. Many of these come for our supporters!
THANK YOU AGAIN for the support and being a part of the OIJ community here :) we're also looking for one European / Japan / Australia based moderator for *GO so we cover all the time zones. -john

If I had technique to film and edit the video, I could support the (3)... (I can edit books, pamphlet, etc., though) . I think it's good idea to place a Japan based moderator who speaks Japanese. I'm concerned that a few people occasionally use dirty words in Japanese in super chat. Unfortunately my work is very busy, so I don't have much time to do other things, BUT I'm very glad to help you as much as I can in Tokyo in Japanese language if you need!

2019-01-09 16:45:51 +0000 UTCWow, it would be just as interesting to watch you travel through steam train across Japan. We hardly see the remote Japanese countrysides and landscapes on YouTube.

2019-01-09 16:43:32 +0000 UTCStill would like you to actually drive across Japan on some road trips and those local Road Stops.

2019-01-09 16:41:29 +0000 UTCAs others have mentioned, jump behind a car steering wheel and show people how access to a car in Japan opens up the country and the travel options far more than just riding the Shinkansen etc.

2019-01-09 07:45:29 +0000 UTCRoad trips in Japan, areas affected by the 2011 earthquake and how theyβre doing now, and areas in between Osaka and Fukuoka would be nice to cover for this year

2019-01-09 07:41:31 +0000 UTCOgasawara is 1 of the most exiting contents last year, I would love to see more of these remote islands and yes, would love to see more places at Shikoku which are rarely covered in the past. Okapi!
