Yes, I will be taking SKYPE calls from Samurai supporters :) Call will be 1-2 minutes to keep the streams manageable and get to as many questions as possible.
If you're a Samurai level supporter, direct message me on Patreon for SKYPE access.
UNLISTED LINK will be available 10-15 min before the live stream so we can start on time.
Note: Play back will be available for Welcome Level supporters 5-7 days after the stream. Permissions for the stream will change so check back next week to watch :)

2019-01-08 23:39:27 +0000 UTCHi John, hope you're both having a happy new year. Did you have a favourite new food / dish or drink that you had on your travels in Dec / Jan?

2019-01-08 11:52:32 +0000 UTCHi john. How often do you write in japanese and how did you find writing it when you first started? I'm learning to read and write in Hiragana and Katakana and I've found that my writing is actually a lot neater than it is in English 😄

2019-01-08 06:50:48 +0000 UTCHey John I'm back! Thanks for sharing your Xmas world tour with us. Of all the countries/continents on this trip you visited what aspect made the places stand out so it wasn't just a blur of constant travelling?

2019-01-08 06:04:59 +0000 UTCHey John. As you probably know by now, I'm about to move to Japan (in 5 days!). My question is around visas - I now have my "Spouse of a Japanese National Visa", which is valid for 1 year, after that time I will have to renew for another visa - which I believe will either again be 1 year, or 3 years, or 5 years (I think the latter is for people who have been there longer?). Curious what sort of visas you've held there over the years, and are you still in the loop of having to do the ongoing renewals - and is the process a hassle each time or gets easier? Thanks.

2019-01-08 05:48:42 +0000 UTCHappy New Year! Have you been to Awadori Festival in Tokushima, Shikoku? Women march on their toes and arms in the air with a unique woven straw (half moon shaped) headgear. Men, women and children put on a very energetic performance . How many days does a festival last?

2019-01-08 04:33:34 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, I will be working at a client's office tomorrow, so I may not be able to participate. If I miss it, I will watch the replay. Regardless, happy to know you and Kanae have returned to Japan safe and sound.
