Tokyo FM “Cool Japan” interview
Added 2018-11-28 14:22:51 +0000 UTCI had a chance to go to Tokyo’s biggest radio station and talk for an hour about the show. They asked me to do it in Japan! It’s okay for me, but I never had an formal schooling - just talk normally. Many people said they usually don’t have a lot of fun like this - it’s very business like in the interviews. I said it’s not my style. You don’t attract people by being stiff. Be yourself! Anyway, Kanae told me I only made a few mistakes and I can live with that. If you don’t have the courage to challenge yourself, success can never happen - but there is a line between that and making a fool of one’s self. Haha!
This chance came to me from a group called Cool Japan TV from Taiwan I think. Not sure but they’re also doing some neat thing and I’m happy that they thought of me and the channel.
Yup, it was all in Japanese but they said they’ll upload the video in January and I’ll share it when it’s done. -John

Being a 'fly on the wall' for that kind of real-life conversation almost always yields a nugget or two of useful information you don't really get from textbooks, etc.
