John, I want to thank you very much for making this video, it really made me happy to see it. Despite some negative/over-sensitive feedback in the comments on it, I didn't see any issue with your presentation of it, nor did I sense any lack of "respect". I was actually a bit disappointed to read that you won't do another temple video, as I feel that Buddhism & its temples are a very important and significant aspect of Japanese culture and history - both ancient and contemporary. Furthermore, the value in you highlighting the vegetarian/vegan side of Japan's cuisine is extremely appreciated and applauded by the few of us like myself that live that way diet-wise (albeit not eating something as elaborate as that in your video every day haha). Anyway, if it is the last video of its kind at least we have this one out there, the shojin ryori experience was on my wish-list of topics for you to cover as it is something that sits high on my list of what makes Japan special. Thanks.

I am more acquainted with Tibetan Buddhism (Dalai Lama) and not as familiar with the various schools of Buddhism in Japan. However, watching that you went to a Japanese Buddhist Temple, to dine and meditate was truly fascinating. I took the same five minutes to meditate with you. 😃 Great idea to visit the temple. This is also a part of Japan that I would like to experience when I get there.
