April’s POSTCARDS update

The wedding photos and data won’t be available until May 20th from the photographer so the postcards will be a couple of weeks later than usual. The photographer took some amazing photos in a Japanese garden on the wedding day and Kanae and I are really excited to see them! I called them yesterday and they gave me a delivery date. After I get it, I’ll make a design, send them to the printers and a couple days later — OFF THEY GO ✈️ 📮🗼🔜📭
By the way, May’s postcard will be from Osaka or Kyoto! (Which one do you vote for? Send your thoughts to me below :) -John PS: this is a photo my mother took when I was practicing the Shinto ritual of turning a branch at the alter. It’s very important to do it right! I’m still not quite sure why we do it, but I was told it’s an important part of the ceremony.

I’m good with waiting until June for the wedding post card....

Michael Nichols

Sure I can wait for wedding photo next month

Kyoto is the clear winner! I’m heading there this weekend to film with Kevin. Normally I send the postcards today (The 10th) so we’re behind. Since I won’t get the wedding photos until the 21st, I could have the Kyoto postcard out to you a week earlier. Does anyone have and issues with the wedding & Japanese garden postcard pushed to June 10th and the Kyoto one sent on May 20th. It might make sense logistically but I need to see if there is anyone who this doesn’t work for. You can also send me a direct message via Patreon - like email - if you want to keep it private :) thanks for taking the time to make this postcard club a lot of fun for all of us!

Kyoto. Many thanks to your mommfor taking this behind the scenes wedding photo.

Both cities are wonderful in their own way, but I vote for the "underdog" Osaka. Because Osaka is a great food town that deserves a little postcard shout-out and love. Have a great trip!
