Didn't know about that, thanks for the info and background. I would apply! I was shocked (seriously) when Shueisha said manga artists should contact them!! They're hiring non-Japanese artists and the pool of talent responding is not high enough!! If you've got game programming skills, I'd seriously consider this - being a math teacher doesn't matter. India has a very strong reputation in Japan for programmers and the science field - worldwide actually.
