Version .8 Official Release!!!

Well… I have good news and bad news:

First, the good news is that this is a great release and a lot happens in this update. I really think you guys are going to like it. There are a couple decisions that you make for Taylor that will alter how this version ends, as well as relying on decisions that you made earlier in the game. There are 4 different ways this version could end, depending on how you played the game. Big thank you to bossapplesauce for helping me with the programming of this release – without him, I’d still be struggling to get this thing done.

Now for the bad news: Old saves don’t work, so you’ll need to start a new game. I can’t tell you how sorry I am about this and know how annoying that can be. I had to alter a bunch of old game code to change the relationship between Nikki and Taylor and that seems to have corrupted old save files. Obviously, this was unexpected and not ideal. The good news is that I should never have to touch the old scripts again after this so this should be the only time something like this happens for the remainder of the game. Obviously, hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I made these changes sooner, but here’s where we’re at.  Hopefully you guys don't mind clicking through the early scenes that you've already experienced too much.

Now for the V.8 Change-Log:

- Clarified the relationship between Nikki and Taylor so they are childhood best friends. This caused old saves to not work anymore, so you’ll have to start a new game. Unintended consequence that no one is happy about ☹

- Once you get back to where the we left off:

- Our story continues…

- It’s Saturday, so it’s the day Taylor has to tutor Cory, but after last night’s fiasco in the restaurant, he’s not sure how the session will go.

- Taylor takes a shopping trip with Nikki and Molly, then will have the choice how to spend the afternoon.

- Then the night will finish up at a party, where the ending depends on the decisions made earlier in the day.

- 160 new renders for V.8 content

- I went back and cleaned up some particularly grainy or bad renders from early in the game.

- Added three new animations to the first sex scene with Mrs. Sollain from the first release demo – 23 new renders.

- All the main characters now have side images on the screen when they are talking.

- 160 new V.8 renders + 23 V.1 updated renders = 183 total new renders in this release.
