I grew up going to a bunch of different elementary schools due to moving so never had a set of close friends growing up. By the time I got to Jr high, I felt even more like a loner cuz most these kids already had rapport w each other thru THEIR elementary school. Didn't come out of my shell until sophomore yr in hs when I met my first ever, but sadly, ex-best friend in confirmation class (catholic thing). She was super extroverted. She was the one to pull me outta my shell, introduced me to others from other local high schools, & dragged me to many fun activities. Too bad she had to turn out to be such a shady, manipulative, compulsive liar who screwed over me & a few of her other friends.
