So much time has passed since my last episode. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so very long. (Oh my, I just checked and it is now just shy of a YEAR since my last episode! Where does the time go?!) I want to thank you for hanging in there with me. It's been a weird and wild year for us, much of it good but much of it very hard.
But we are safe and healthy and wearing our masks, and hoping for better days ahead for our world. In the meantime, my little girl is growing like a weed. She's not quite 13, but I already feel like I have a teenager in the house. She's attending seventh grade online, Zooms and Facetimes with her many friends, and (sometimes) still laughs at my jokes. All in all, we are extremely lucky.
This episode is about what happened before the pandemic shut down the schools. Back when packs of tween girls still roamed crowded halls, just like I did over 30 years ago, sharing jokes and secrets.
I hope it was worth the wait. I hope you are well.
Much love,
Marlo
