I did a 23andMe test to see if I was anything but white (I’m not) and I ended up finding out my grandma had two children she gave up for adoption and didn’t tell anybody, not even my mom until I found out. My uncle (brother of the children and my mom) still doesn’t know, my mom doesn’t know how to tell him they have two sisters and he isn’t my grandma’s first child. It’s been almost 2 years since I discovered this. My grandma plans to take it to the grave out of fear of judgement :(
