I bet the wife just told him to not pressure her and let her be a kid, and he translated that into just let her be fat, watch TV and eat junk food. Then again in today's fat acceptance world we live in, where doctors are accused of fat shaming for telling their obese patients they need to lose weight...everything is fat shaming.
