Don't rely on TikTok for "facts" lol. "Killer bees" are much more defensive, but it's not like they're out for blood like how media portrays them.

2021-08-06 20:46:41 +0000 UTCEverything I know about bees come from TikTok and this YouTube documentary type video about killer bees but apparently European honey bees are the nice ones most people think about but in Brazil, they brought East African lowland honey bees for something but some escaped and they bred with the European honey bees which created killer bees. Killer bees are insanely aggressive and can even take over regular honey bee hives and kill the queen. They attack in groups and can chase you for like a quarter of a mile. But regular bees are supposed to be very nice and not sting unless they see you as a threat. I’m not a bee expert and am terrified of all bugs, especially those that bite/sting so when I see one I immediately run. I can’t visually tell the difference between any bees, wasps, hornets, etc so I just assume they’re all trying to kill me 😂
