The problem with Bart is that he thinks everyone follows gun protocols like he does which is unrealistic. Sure you can argue that gun owners should be educated and teach their kids but not everyone is that even remotely that close to being responsible. Which is why it's better to err on the side of caution to the general public

Agree with Bart that gun-safety protocol should be taken seriously with any type of gun, but I think this country has been pretty nuts with gun so I agree with Steve the most. We can tell people to not have these near their kids, but there are also people flip out when you tell them to get vaccinated because "it's a microchip and covid is a bioweapon from China but at the same time it's not deadly enough for me to wear a mask because it's less deadly than the flu." So, I don't think enough people prioritize even basic safety for anything for a population to be trusted with mass production of these lego guns. tl;dr too many people are moronic baboons and can't even be trusted with basic things. Hell no would I trust thousands of them with a "cool-looking gun" LOL.

Im not in favor of guns looking like toys but also this was a custom order its not going into mass production.

Ppl have been killed by police bc they think they have a gun but is a toy or just something else that doesn’t even resemble a toy .so now a cop might see someone holding the lego gun and think oh is just a toy but is a actual gun they can harm ppl .

But what’s the difference between a “lego” gun and a nerf gun? Can’t be outraged by one & not the other

Don't forget about when kids have playdates/go over other people's houses. You don't know if they take gun safety seriously even if they tell you they do. It's not always about how you control your own home but what could happen if they were at someone else's.

I’m surprised the biggest concern is a child getting a hold of it. My biggest thing is, ppl are already getting shot for holding toy weapons, this will only make accidental shooting happen even more if some toy looking gun is a real weapon
