He really wanted to do it right and was apart of every creative process, down to the culture, costumes, etc. The show is based off a book by James Clavell. It was originally just gonna be one season but because the show did so well, season 2 and 3 are in early development.

2024-09-19 11:52:03 +0000 UTCOkay so I know you guys were concerned about how graphic it is compared to Game Of Thrones but this show is extremely mild compared to GOT in terms of nudity. The first episode is most graphic it'll get sexually. Everything else is done tastefully from 2nd episode on it so its safe to watch. I promise 😭
