Thank you. You let me know that i'm not just crazy. It is documented that these guys have worked with or marched in the same events as skinheads (neo nazi's). Whether they identify with it officially or not is irrelevant. Part of their M.O. is denying everything & deflecting. I sometimes forget that their area of expertise is cameras, lighting, film, production, movie history, acting, business, entertainment, their respective cultures and what is going on in Los Angeles/Hollywood. This is the bubble that they are in everyday. Outside of that bubble...they just don't have a feel for what is going on. When it comes to politics, race & other minority groups, government, history, & current events (outside of the bubble)...they just don't have the knowledge & information. But that's all the more reason why JK News is not their greatest project. With JKN, they stumble into sensitive areas outside of their scope of knowledge & expertise...and it is fraught with problems. Like I mentioned in another comment...everything was fine when they had JK Films, JK Party & Ask The Feels. These problems didn't really come out until they dumped their really good content and decided to push JK News. I don't think they are actively or purposefully trying to come off as racist. I just have to believe that it is something else. I chalk it up to just a lack of information, knowledge & understanding of the experiences & histories of other groups. However, what is more stinging & disappointing is that they don't seem to care...and their message seems to be..anyone who is not in our group & anyone who is not from our cultural or racial background can go get f'd. Not the best approach. But that's on them. Definitely speak up. Some JK fans might be reluctant to say anything...because they like these guys so much. But unless someone says something...the staff may not realize there is an issue. ✌

The Proud Boys is an organization that is widely recognized by law enforcement, experts, and watchdog groups as a dangerous hate group. At least one country has them formally listed as a terrorist organization. Then Steve lies by suggesting that the leader of the group is African American. The fact is...he identifies as Cuban American. Regardless of his bloodline, he is from a segment of Cubans (a large number) who are rabid supporters of the Republican Party & right wing causes. That is largely part of the reason why Florida is so right-leaning, despite having one of the largest combined African-American & Hispanic populations of any State in the U.S. It's the Cuban population there. I only watched for the interaction between some of the guests & crew and..the occasional decent laugh. It helped when they added JKP content. But it especially hasn't been good with the regular ladies being gone for the past few weeks. It's been horrible. Tiff, Geo, Nikki Blades, Julia & Limo were the only reasons to watch.

When the group is anti-feminist, anti-LGBT, anti-semetic, islamophobic, neo-fascist, it tends to be very easy to call them neo nazis because maaan they sure do share a lot of opinions. And the stuff about pepe, ok hand sign etc is that yes, originally it was a troll from 4chan (definitely not a lot of bigots there) but when people who march with swastikas, burn a BLM flag in a black church and then show ok hand signs and pepes AFTER it’s been publicised to maybe be a white suprematist thing, it starts to be a bit more alarming than just “haha it’s just jokes, people are so sensitive these days”

I think the main reason why the "proud boys" are called nazi's is because their leaders and founders have been openly racist used nazi symbols. I know people throw around the term "nazi" too much these days, but when Ia group is marching with swastika flags and pins on their clothing then I think it's fair to call them nazi's.

Slightly unrelated, but I remember on Twitter, gay men were using #proudboys to pretty much troll the nationalist proud boys and not let them have the space to be just blatantly racist. A bunch of Kpop stans did something similar and spammed "#whitelivesmatter" , "#bluelivesmatter", and similar racist or "I'm not racist, BUT..." hashtags with a bunch of Kpop related stuff lol.
