2021-03-31 16:19:01 +0000 UTCI actually didn't know that it was originally set at 10k, I saw the thing trending on twitter, there was a description of the situation saying "the goal is set at 60k, and Kylie Jenner wanted her fans to pay for it" etc, so I think a lot of people just got confused, difficult situation since if you go to the gofundme page, you just see the new goal and so on, very hard to verify at that point, so people just go with it.
