We all know "freedom of speech" doesn't apply to private companies, but isn't it a bit weird that we don't actually have a social space that can be protected by these laws? Freedom of speech doesn't really exist then (functionally).. right? Has our Constitution been effectively side-stepped? Are the spaces we all congregate to for news, current events and culture considered a privilege or a public utility?
