I was in Harbin China and my hosts bought me dog. I was caught off guard and prayed that it would be just whatever so that I don't crave it in the states. I tried the Korean version (in broth with vegetables) which was thankfully whatever. Then I tried the Filipino style (slow cooked over a bed of spinach) and it was like top quality carnitas.
