I think that the reason why gaming culture sort of seems like it never progressed is because of the anonymity. People can say the craziest shit and not worry about it too much because the regular person can't trace their IP address and found out who they are. There's a guy I watch on YouTube where he does this sort stuff though. It's pretty good, because you hear these people say the most racist shit until they learn that the guy tracked them and found all of their personal information. Those people then just shut the fuck up and start apologizing.

Some people think Jewish people are just "white lite" which perpetuates the idea that antisemitism shouldn't be taken seriously. There are people that think racism is gone because of MLK and there are people that think antisemitism went away after Hitler died as if they think everyone stopped being nazis forever. There are also Jewish people that aren't white, so that word isn't just something said against white people by white people. Even if that situation happened to involve two white people, it's not just about people that look like them.
