Armpit hair on women is disgusting. I don't understand how making it a movement is somehow "empowering" to women. I think the whole thing is just stupid, its all just first world problems. If you feel personally slighted as a person and that society makes you feel inadequate because of your fucking BODY HAIR, that's your own fucked up mentality that you need to work through. Don't blame society for every which way you perceive social norms.

Bitch. Life is too short for me to give a fuck about some random people and how they feel about my body hair. My parts have nothing to do with anyone else. Like I totally get woman empowerment and I hate how people are always saying that we're putting these rules on ourselves. I get that people have gone overboard with the feminist movement and are now shoving femininity down out throats, but we can't just sit here and act like men haven't made rules for women to create societal norms. I think you misinterpreted what Tiff said. She's not talking about the individual women that shave, laser, wax, etc for themselves, she's talking about the pressures society puts on women saying they HAVE to do this in order to look attractive or be accepted. We know we don't have to shave for a specific man (some do), but a lot of girls growing up are fed with information saying they have to look a certain way so people (men) don't look at them in disgust. There's LONG, pretty sexist history behind women having to look a certain way that's not limited to body hair. Don't just look at the surface level. People can have a personal preference to dislike body hair, but this is about the whole picture, not just individual women- like I said.
