@Allen Xavier Silva I grew up in cali and currently I’ve there so I know, and it has a large homeless problem because of the benefits they get here like the amount of cash aid and food stamps they get compared to everywhere else

That seems like a rather obtuse and anecdotal opinion. California unfortunately has such a large homeless problem, bc we get them from everywhere like Chicago trying to escape the shity weather and strict laws.

I lived in Chicago and being homeless is illegal, if I cop walks up to a homeless person and they don’t have a dollar they arrest them..though the homeless are way different from Cali homeless. Cali homeless are wack and have hella mental issues so it’s different

brooooo iv been attacked by homeless people in nyc multiple times too. either being grabbed in the face or being spit on or being yelled at with racial slurs or just downright harassed and screamed at. honestly so scared and mad at aggressive homeless people but I know its because of their mental health....ugh im conflicted

...Or we could spend the same money on long term psychiatric hospitals and more rehabilitation, which in my opinion is why this is happening. Most hospitals closed during the last century and while many of them weren't great, we now more about mental health and humane treatment, that I think we could do a better job. However, for sex offenders I can see your plan working just fine.

I know this is fucked up but what if... we send all the crazy homeless(not the ppl going through bad times) people to some island and drop them food and water every month.

But we put dogs down for biting once... maybe it is more humane to put a person down in his condition if he is endangering people.

Had to take a detour on my way to the bank because the street was locked down for a homicide investigation. Figured it was gang related but turned out to be a crazy homeless guy that stabbed a 26 year old woman to death. Same situation he was arrested previously, declared insane, released and here we are. Be safe out there people.
