They created this misconception to downplay the problem and call them drug addicts

I even went to med school and have a degree in Medical Specialties and National Certifications in Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy. I had to apply for disability in 2011 due to horrible spinal issues, Fibromyalgia, Leukemia and more and they put me on every medication possible. Just this past year, I had my pain management dr. just stop the pain meds which wasn't even an issue for me thankfully and I found a different dr. to help me wean off of all of these other medications they had me on for anxiety that I had no idea why I was even on them. And just last week I had neck surgery which has been going great, I feel better already and in about a month I'm getting the much needed low back surgery. I am finally getting back to feeling like a human for once in my life! I started an all natural way of eating and such and my Leukemia went from stage 4 to 0. I am doing what is good for my body instead of taking meds that I know I don't need. I'm even starting with the stones and saging and such along side of my Christian upbringing. Getting more in touch with myself and our universe.

2019-10-31 00:05:59 +0000 UTCSources? Because this sounds extremely biased and you sound shockingly ignorant. Something being associated with Eastern practices doesn't automatically discredit it. And not all practices are the same. I.e you can't just put acupuncture and tiger dick soup in the same scenario. Also, western medicine has destroyed a lot of lives, too (opioid epidemic: prescription drugs- which they actually talked about this episode for a good minute). You can't say "x is all bad, but y is all good" and ignore the other side of it. To note, these aren't used to "cure" diseases, but she has done acupuncture to alleviate pain for example.
