I so badly want to have a conversation with Joe about Amish😂 Being from Lancaster Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania with the second largest Amish population in the US and Lancaster with the largest in Pennsylvania it makes me laugh that when he thinks of Pennsylvania he thinks of Amish. The vast majority of us absolutely hate the Amish. They do not partake in any of the things we do in day to day life. They are a burden to our society. And for the animal lovers the hate is greater. Therefore the Amish have nothing to do with any studies like this. Fun fact the Amish community is slowly diminishing and merging into regular society based on laws restricting things such as how many horses they can have per acre. Also they stink😂 yo nothing is worse than going somewhere and having to walk past one. But Joe really brings the Amish up quite a bit and I notice because I hate them😂

I see your point. A few of my mates when UPenn and I have a few other mates that went to Penn state and to be honest I don't see that much of a difference between them. I think this a tempting conclusion to reach because state schools in general do tend to have more of a party image versus an Ivy school where the name itself just evokes extremely proper people. But I think as we peel back this surface layer. there is very little difference between the types of people. I think the most extreme difference would be class/income since wealthy persons are far more likely to be able to pay fees associated to a Ivy school verses someone from middle income background.

Ok, I hope the JK crew reads this. University of Pennsylvania is the Ivy League school in Philadelphia. Penn State University is the biggest state school in PA based in the middle of Pennsylvania. These will be two completely different student demographics. I went to Penn State, so a lot of the demographic, undergrad or graduate, they surveyed depends on the results. If undergrad, a lot of them are bro/party/football type guys as Penn State is known to be a party school and have a big football culture. So if they are leaning to "das gay" to recycle, we can see who they surveyed in that study. I don't mind they got it mixed up, the names are similar. But know that on the east coast, Penn State is known as THE state school to go to in Pennsylvania for average to above average scores. They do have a great business and science program last when I was there. But Penn State students and UPenn students being of similar mindset? Probably only a small percent would actually gel really well together.
