I had fun watching along as always and hopefully can address a couple things you mentioned! -- Yep, Apgujeong is one of the older rich neighborhoods within Gangnam! Kind of old-money in Seoul terms, I guess? --The actor who plays Noeul (Choi Sungwon) is a great established musical theater guy! After this aired he was unfortunately sidelined with leukemia (!) for a while but has since made a full recovery and is back at it. -- Yeah Seo Taeji & the Boys is commonly written about as the first Kpop act of the First Generation. Definitely big, the founder of YG being one of them (Yang Hyunsuk). --And I feel you on Asian parents, haha.
